hi bye mama is finally over and i have so many feelings, not sure if it's good or bad. i don't talk much about it on twitter but here's my take on the drama

tbh hi bye mama really started off strong. it really made you want to keep watching and watching. but somewhere in the middle the plot just fell off. i had so many moments where i wondered how this happened or why is it like this or like that.

 

if you follow me on twitter you'll probably know by now how much i love minjeong. she's favorite character in the drama. but i was upset that we didn't get to see much of her moments with ganghwa. i felt like there were so many flashback scenes that it took up most of the time for the drama when we could have had scenes with ganghwa x minjeong instead.

 

also i'm upset at how they weren't able to showcase lee kyuhyung's talents as much as i had hoped for. yes, he is a great actor and we saw that in the drama. but really he has so much more to him that we weren't able to see. but nevertheless, he did amazing as ganghwa.

 

i honestly felt like the last episode was rushed. i mean yuri did say goodbye but we also didn't get to see so much of that. they gave us scenes of yuri writing down her "to do list" and just showing us her last moments. idk but i expected more dialogue from those scenes but we didn't get that. yuri did get her closure and she was able to say goodbye to her loved ones, and that makes me happy. but honestly the ending just didn't make me feel satisfied.
